Following the acquisition, Restore Technology is the largest and fastest growing IT Recycling and asset disposition (ITAD) business in the UK. A core component of the Restore Technology offering is IT disposal and recycling, and following a string of strategic acquisitions, the Restore business has assembled the most comprehensive recycling and data destruction capability in the country, ensuring an unparalleled level of service for customers.
For the last 20 years, the team at CDL has built an impressive business, supporting corporate and government customers throughout the UK with exceptional services levels. Their processing centre is one of the most advanced in Europe, handling hundreds of thousands of items every year. CDL has UK wide customers through both direct relationships and the IT Reseller channel which represents a key strategic growth area for the business. Key management and over 80 staff will remain in the business which will be integrated into Restore Technology during 2021.
The services provided by the merged businesses include secure data destruction, IT recycling, on-site IT destruction, server and data center relocation, and IT asset management. This is all carried out with the highest levels of security and environmental impact. The businesses also hold an array of industry accreditations and awards whilst sharing a focus on sustainability and community support.
